Accessibility Statement

EliteVault LLC is committed to ensuring that our website and services are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We believe that luxury goods and world-class service should be equally available to every person, regardless of ability or the technology they use.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as well as applicable requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and similar Canadian legislation.

Our website is tested and supported on the following platforms:

Visual

• Colour contrast — all text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text)
• Font sizes — minimum 16px on inputs to prevent zoom on mobile; base font 17px with relative sizing throughout
• Text resizing — the site is functional and readable at up to 200% browser zoom
• No information conveyed by colour alone — icons and text labels accompany all status indicators

Navigation & Interaction

• Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard (Tab, Enter, Space, Arrow keys)
• Focus indicators — clearly visible focus rings on all focusable elements (not suppressed)
• Touch targets — all interactive elements meet the 44×44px minimum touch target size per Apple and Google guidelines
• Skip link — screen reader users can skip to main content
• No keyboard traps — users can navigate away from any modal or focus container using the keyboard

Content

• Alt text — all meaningful images have descriptive alternative text
• Semantic HTML — proper use of headings (H1–H4), landmarks (header, main, nav, footer, aside), lists, and tables
• ARIA labels — ARIA attributes used where needed to supplement semantic markup
• Form labels — all form inputs have visible, associated labels
• Error messages — form errors are clearly identified in text, not by colour alone
• Page titles — each page has a unique, descriptive title
• Language — the page language is declared (lang="en")

Motion & Animations

• We respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query — users who have requested reduced motion will not experience decorative animations
• No content flashes more than 3 times per second (seizure threshold)
• No auto-playing audio or video

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, we are aware of the following known limitations that we are working to address:

• The live chat widget may have limited support with some older screen readers — we are investigating improvements
• Some third-party content (embedded maps, Google Fonts) may not be fully under our control
• PDF documents, where present, may not be fully tagged — we are working to remediate these

Our accessibility programme is ongoing. We regularly audit our site using a combination of automated tools (Axe, Lighthouse) and manual testing with assistive technology.
